  • Candidates with a minimum of 75% marks at +2 level of education (Intermediate/CBSE/ICSE/HSC and all State Boards or Equivalent with science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics) are eligible to apply. The programs are open to all students who have completed / expect to complete +2 stages with at least three of the four subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics) as their optional subjects with a minimum of 75% at +2 level. Preference in admission will be given to students possessing KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) scholarship.   • Candidates seeking registration for the Ph.D. programme shall hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry from a recognized university with 50% marks in the qualifying examination provided that candidates belonging to SC/ST communities shall be eligible for concession up to 10% and provided further that candidates who have been teachers at least for the last five years in a college affiliated to any one of the universities in Kerala will be eligible for a concession up to 5% in the minimum eligible mark.
